Frequently asked questions

- Yes, individual registrations are accepted for the conference. However, there are limited slots available.

- No, the registration fee of INR 2500 does not include accommodation. The school will not be responsible for accommodating outstation participants. Recommendations for nearby hotels can be provided upon request.

- The conference will take place at Delhi Public School, Karnal. All proceedings will be conducted within the school premises. Unauthorized entry will not be permitted.

- DPS Karnal Model United Nations will adhere to UNA-USA procedures. Students will be briefed on these procedures by their respective executive board members before the sessions begin.

- Yes, registered students will receive training sessions prior to the conference.

- The conference schedule will be announced soon. Please stay updated for further details.

- Day 1: Western formals.

I am Samairaa Makkar, a Grade 12 student and the Director General of DPS MUN 3.0, deeply passionate about law, diplomacy, international relations, and public discourse. Over the years, I have participated in MUNs, moot courts, debates, and leadership forums at both school and university levels, including international conferences in collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania and conferences hosted by institutions such as Amity University. My journey has been recognised through accolades such as Best Delegate and Best Policy Paper, while interactions with delegates from countries like Canada, France, Singapore, Dubai, and Nigeria have strengthened my global perspective. Being on stage since the age of five, I have hosted major events, addressed audiences of over 1,500–3,000 people, and spoken on important yet often unaddressed social issues. I have also served as the “Principal of the School” twice during Teachers’ Day celebrations, experiences that further shaped my leadership and public speaking abilities. Alongside my interests in law and diplomacy, I am currently working on a passion project at the intersection of technology, fashion, and media. What truly defines me is my ability to command attention through perspective, authenticity, and depth, while being able to deeply research, adapt, and confidently work on any subject, regardless of how unfamiliar it may be.

With experience in Model United Nations both as a Delegate and as a member of the Organising Committee under Delegate Affairs, she has developed a keen understanding of diplomacy, teamwork, and conference management. Her participation in the India Youth Parliament further reflects her passion for meaningful dialogue and public speaking. Beyond academics and diplomacy, Nimrat has been practicing Kirtan for the past six years, a journey that reflects her spiritual grounding and dedication. She has also earned recognition in the field of art by securing Second Position in the Avantika Art Competition and has been featured in newspapers for her achievements. Alongside this, her exposure to the stock market through working with her father has nurtured her analytical thinking and decision-making skills, while tennis continues to shape her perseverance and resilience. A Commerce student with a natural inclination towards management and organisation, Sana believes that confidence, consistency and authenticity are the qualities that truly define a leader. Deeply involved in school life, she has served as House Captain for two consecutive years and as the Aesthetic Head in the school cabinet. From organising major school functions to taking initiative wherever required, she has built a reputation as someone dependable, driven and capable of turning ideas into reality.
