ALL INDIA POLITICAL PARTIES MEET

AGENDA A: Deliberations on measures to decriminalize Indian politics decisively.

Criminalisation of politics is defined as the situation when criminals participate in the politics of the government, i.e., contest elections and get elected to the Parliament and state legislatures. This growing menace has become a big problem for our society, affecting the basic principles of democracy, such as fairness in elections, following the law, and being accountable.

AGENDA B: Mulling reforms in India’s cyber security laws in the wake of increasing security risks

As the world is advancing in the realm of digitalisation, the threat of cyber-attacks has also grown and India is no exception to it. Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) are complex and prolonged cyber-attacks, usually carried out by well-resourced and skilled groups. These attacks are designed to infiltrate and remain hidden in the target’s network for a long time, allowing them to steal or manipulate data, or cause damage.
